Lisa Colodny

Dr. Lisa Robin Phillips Colodny was born in the rolling hills of Kentucky. She grew up writing short stories centered around an eclectic group of family and friends. She is a graduate of Broward College and Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Her first children's book, Ms Abrams Everything Garden won the 2015 Purple Dragonfly Award for Children's Literature. She has published three stories, The Town Time Forgot, Yellow River Pledge, and newly released, Journeys. A fourth story Sanctuary Road is set to be released this Summer. The first book in a new young reader series, The Place Where Magic Lives: Into the Woods will be available in the Fall of 2018. In her free time, Dr. Colodny enjoys spending time with her daughter and playing with their two dogs, Cooper and Buttercup. She is an avid doll collector and has over 700 Barbies!
